About Browsers
A majority of the Emerson Power Transmission’s (EPT) web site is available
only to Self-Registered and EPT Account customers who are required to log-on to
access account functionality. Our log-on is protected by encryption technology
to make doing business with us as secure as possible. Most popular browser
software supports our web site technology. You may need to change certain
browser settings to log-on to our site to take advantage of the functionality
within the EPT Registered/Account Services sections. Even with the recommended
browsers, your company may have a proxy or firewall setting that prevents
you from going to a secure site.

What happens if my browser doesn’t meet these requirements? To Top
If your browser doesn’t support the level of security required, you’ll see a notice asking you to obtain a new version of the browser, with links to the appropriate download locations. The server won’t transmit sensitive data over a connection that’s not secure, so until you upgrade, you won’t be able to access the Registered/Account Services section of www.emerson-ept.com.

Choose your password carefully. The ideal password is easy for you to
remember and impossible for others to guess.
Some tips:
- Select a password with a minimum of 6 characters in length.
- You may want to have a mixture of letters and numbers in the password -- using a mixture is best.
- Avoid words that can be found in a dictionary.
- Don't use anything someone else could guess easily, such as your own or a family member's name, birth date, address, social security number, or phone number.
- Memorize your password.
- Only you will know the password; don't write it down or give it to anyone else.
- Log off when you've finished with a session.
